Amtrak

Introduction

Amtrak, the national rail operator for USA, connects America in safer, greener and healthier ways. With 21,000 route miles in 46 states, the District of Columbia and three Canadian provinces, Amtrak operates more than 300 trains each day — at speeds up to 150 mph — to more than 500 destinations. Amtrak is the operator of choice for state-supported corridor services in 17 states and for four commuter rail agencies.

Adding Amtrak Content to your Portal

Atriis implementation fee: consult your Order Form or the Extended Services List. Alternatively, you can contact your Customer Success or Implementation Manager who will confirm the pricing.

Amtrak content is available via Sabre GDS.

Sabre-based TMC:

Please request your Atriis Account/Implementation manager to activate Amtrak on the PCC connected to Atriis. Once done, Amtrak can be activated under My TMC Content.

Important note: you can configure in Sabre whether a CVV is required or not when booking Amtrak. We do not support payment with a CVV and you need to deactivate this option in the PCC in Sabre. 

Non-Sabre TMC:

If your TMC uses a different GDS, Atriis offers the Amtrak connection with our own agreement. To activate this connection, please consult with your CSM/Customer Solutions Manager and open a request for the connection. Please note that starting September 2025, booking Amtrak through the Atriis Sabre channel will be charged $1.5 (or equivalent in your invoice currency) per transaction.
